About us
Birdwatching Central Asia is a locally registered company operating in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan (soon Tajikistan too). Our main tour guide is also the director of the Ornithological Society KG (OSKG), that runs conservation programs in the Kyrgyz Republic, focusing on species and habitat protection, education, ecotourism development and research.
Rooted in Conservation
A share of the tours price is donate to the Ornithological Society KG (OSKG) to support its conservation work and its action to train local conservationists and biologists.
When possible we integrate existing conservation projects to our itineraries to support the hard work of local nature lovers.
Rooting for Local communities
Our tours rely almost exclusively on Community-led ecotourism businesses, from accomodation to catering. Our aim is to make local tourism providers the first beneficiaries of visiting guests and to increase living standards in an ecofriendly way.
